History: The Apostolic Change Education (A.C.E) Cadre Sphere
The Apostolic Change Education [A.C.E] Cadre Sphere was birthed Monday May 25, 1998 about 3:00 pm Mr. Grantley R. A. Cadogan its Founder and first CEO, a trained Teacher in the Public school system and a Wesleyan Pastor pastored the Wesleyan Church at Agricola Georgetown Guyana then for seven years; December 1990-1997. Mountain Heights Wesleyan pastoral stint lasted one and one half years; 2002- 2003 Septeember. but it was whilst pastoring at Penial Wesleyan, Agricola, Grater Georgetown Guyana, the vision became was birthed.
Agricola village didn’t have a good reputation. Young men did illegal drugs, steal and kill if need be. Some of Guyana’s most gruesome crimes occurred there. In 2005 Agricola earned its place internationally on www.rotten.com as location for one of the world’s most morbid crimes.
Pastor Cadogan felt the Call of God, to teach and reach the nations’ Youth, on his Life from an early age. He felt that his trained ministerial and educational experiences were aptly suited to meet the needs disadvantaged men and women of his community displayed.
The Agricola Greater Georgetown community shaped many of his concerns and fuelled his desire to confront challenges that affect people under tremendous societal pressure.
Grantley Cadogan ailed from a poor family. The fifth child of Victor and Olga Cadogan, two people who struggled to make much out of little, helped their boy to see acute lack among people.
Olga, his mother, played the greater role in her son's education, as his father showed less interest for the boy’s growing educational needs.
Grantley carries a deep compassion for people, but more acutely focused on disadvantaged fatherless males.
Very early his peers observed he carried himself with a touch of integrity. He performed well at school in his early years and showed great promises for future endeavours.
He lived on the West Bank of Demerara Guyana South America. In his early years. He attended the Saint Thomas Anglican primary School. At age thirteen he was granted the opportunity to attend a private school [The Guyana Education Trust College] in the Capital City of Georgetown.
At the Patentia Government Secondary School, West Bank, Demerara, Guyana His grades improved. He wrote the General Certificate of Examinations (G.C.E). He failed all his subjects. On his second attempt he did much better. He joined the Guyana Fire Service (1980-1989) and there spend the next nine years working barely making ends meet. Grantley continued to sense this old tug on his life to pursue a career in education. In August 15, 1989 he eft the service and took up his childhood dream of being a schoolteacher. At the Critchlow Labour College, 1989, he earned himself a Certificate in Industrial and Social Studies. He taught Physical Education at the Patentia Secondary School where he attended during his teenage years.
Three years later, 1992, dissatisfied with his level of teaching skills, he left to attend The Cyril Potter College of Education. In June 1994 he graduated with a Teacher's Certificate in Education at the College majoring in Physical Education.
In December 17, 1994 he married Arlene his wife. He read, 1996 - 2000 for a BA in Education at the University of Guyana (UG). During this time, whilst at UG, he continued to teach at New Lodge Community High School Georgetown, pastored the Agricola Wesleyan Church and Thought classes at The Apostolic Change Education Cadre. The Dramatic Change Evening Class (D.C.E.C), the Centre for education was first called was kept at 47 Norton Street Lodge, Georgetown Guyana, Tyrone and Verne Martin's lent the lower floor of their residence for the classes.
The Martins were a warm-hearted family who loved Children and wanted better for the children who lived in the Lodge neighbourhood.
At the Lodge Community High School where Mr Cadogan taught, students operated mainly under conditions that were socially and academically disadvantaging.
This condition appealed to the concern Grantley felt hence he sought to bring some form of reprieve providing educational opportunity for students who were writing the 1998 Secondary School Proficiency Examination (SSPE). His efforts were quickly rewarded. The SSPE examination was due in one month of May 25th, his classes launching date.
Many students of this first batch showed considerable improvement in their academic performance within that month and some of them passed the examination providing them entry, and a second chance at academic at a Senior Secondary school. Most of the subjects taught were carried by the founder. At first classes were held Weekly Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. Students were offered English, Mathematics. Integrated Science and Social Studies. Mr. Cadogan felt that these subjects must be supplemented by Teaching of Reading, and Guidance Counselling. The course package was offered for a monthly fee of one thousand (G$1,000.00) dollars.
Mr. Conrad Matthews then a Secondary School Student was the first to join the ACE staff and taught the students English Language.
It was Conrad Matthews who after spending considerable time one night in a Computer Lab, initiated ACE first computerised copy of their Logo. Shem Seecharan later did some improvement to the logo.
The Apostolic Change Education [A.C.E] Cadre Sphere. In September 1999 Mr. Trotman was promoted to Senior Master at the Covent Garden Secondary School and He left the Lodge CHS to take up his new appointment. Delron Garraway, a Lodge CHS student approached Mr Cadogan inviting him to work with him preparing for his SSPE. Delron was determined to receive tutoring if he was the only student and his family was prepared to pay for the classes. Taking additional transportation cost him more to attend classes now held at 32 Brutus street Agricola ,Grater Georgetown.
Mr. Samuel Matthews and Mr Trelon Garraway came later at Delron’s invitation. Garraway remained very adroit in promoting the ACE Cadre Centre and its purposes to many of his peers. From very early Mr Garraway displayed willingness at leadership. On October 18th, 1999, The Apostolic Change Education (ACE) Cadre; the name the School was now called at the invitation of The President of The Wesleyan Bible College relocated. Dr. Claudette Stephen, invited us to use the Wesleyan Bible College facilities as the main Education Centre. The Staff increased. Dr Kenneth Freeman taught Science. ACEC grew and developed an organizational structure that incorporates a board of Directors comprising a Director General as Chairman and four Assistant Director Generals each responsible for crucial areas of The Cadre’s administration. Many Ace Teachers, notably Dr Fitzroy Marcus, continue to give outstanding sacrificial and voluntary services to the Cadre’s Ministries reaching out to disadvantaged young people of our nation. Mr Gordon Bishop was the first elected Assistant Director General.
Dr Freeman its first secretary. Mr Omesh Satynand served as Finance Controller. Later Mr Horace Brathwaite functioned as the Second Assistant Director General, while Mr Shem Seecharan as Secretary and Third Assistant Director General.
Mr Delron Garraway served on the Student and Youth Prefect System and as a Director. For sometime the ministry kept three centres, a Computer Technology Laboratory and a Secretariat. In January 2003, for the purpose of effectiveness Resources were consolidated into one Center; 7&8 Brickdam and Manget Place Georgetown at The Wesleyan Bible College.
On Monday 2003-08-25, Mr Delron Garraway, age 17, had by now distinct himself outstandingly. He took up full time responsibility of being the Director of Student Affairs of the Ace Cadre Centre.
Dr. Quacy Grant was nominated as Secretary and Mr Sherwin Rollins Youth Commissioner. In March 2004 Cadre operations were moved to Lot 10 Camp and Bent Streets Werk-En-Rust Georgetown. Five months later, in Leu of the CEO and Director General migrating to the United States the the Center would be left under management of Delron Garraway.

Garraway resigned as Ace Cadre Director but retained teaching. Computer repairs was now being professionally done.
Classes were still being held. Information Technology and EDPM were the most sought subjects mainly due to this being the Director General in Charge’s strength. Other offerings at the sites included Internet calls, internet browsing, internet shopping, photocopying, typing, printing, and phone unlocking. Performing Arts: Dance drama, Music, brochures, camping, Concerts, Ace Computer technologies (Acecomtech) were also offered.
Ace Cadre Center was officially named Ace Cadre Academy in 2012 of September. Gordon Bishop was elected as the first Ace Cadre Commissioner Quality Control. By 2009 Ace cadre began drifting away from some of its original focuses and was quickly loosing its identity from inside out. Leaders were failing to address the cadre’s radical and important educational focus and the CEO took action to consolidate. Workers began to have minor internal conflicts. Lay off were made and some painful explanations and apologies made. Finance management become one of Ace cadre’s main concerns. How to balance Business while retaining good heart.
Project consolidation 2011 intended to rectify this management flaw was feebly put in place. The greatest issue faced was an overseas Director general struggling to maintain frequent contact and a welcoming atmosphere amidst deterring relationships and poor value choices and emotional immaturity.
For some time the Director General want to giver completely. To GY organs. Ace was too spread out as men grew older and felt the pressure of putting family demands for food, clothing, fees for schooling and exams bills priority. The results was neglect of Ace business.
Project consolidation purposed to minimise areas spread out operations to fewer or one central locations and maximise available resources and opportunities. In 2013 the commission took control of inhibitions. it proposed more prayer, community revival and youth skills release. Training was made essential to financial management.
G. Cadogan elected 2009 and 2013 as the second Ace Cadre Commissioner.
The Ace Cadre Sphere was started in 2006 DG D. Garraway gave oversight, aided by Sherwin Rollins,
