Ace Cadre Comtech Labs’ Rules / Roles Responsibilities
Only Teachers and Students who are registered and produces a lab pass prior entry to Ace Cadre Comtech Labs will be allowed to use the facilities. Other users will need a written pass stamped with the ACE Communications access to the USE of the resources.
Acecers entering the lab must present to the receptionist his/her badge and Lab Tutorial Pass before being allowed to enter. Failing to do so, access can be denied. Access may also be denied if Lab passes schedule time conflict with Acecers original documented scheduled time.
Acecers must ensure that they adhere strictly to their personal Lab Tutorial schedule.
Acecers presenting themselves at the Lab outside of the date and time for which they are scheduled, will only be allowed to enter on the discretion of the Coordinating receptionist.
Tutors must ensure that Acecers complete their specified lab hours and that an accurate record of their progress is kept.
The Laboratory and its environs are declared a SILENT ZONE where undue loud music, talking or shouting is prohibited.
No Acecer, at any time, is allowed into the lab and unto the units unsupervised. The Coordinating Receptionist in the Movements Book must record Acecers movements into and out of the labs.
Acecers will only be allowed to enter the lab after declaring to the Coordinating Receptionist items to be taken into the Lab. Bags and files will not be allowed in the labs.
Acecers and other users who access the labs services are expected to pay the Secretariat for their services including all of their printing or copy jobs, at a price decided on by the Ace Cadre Comtech Labs Directors and to collect a receipt for received services.
Acecers are advised not to attend labs with costly jewelry in their possession.
All users of Ace Cadre Comtech Labs units must first receive introductory courses/sessions in Computer Technology or satisfy Instructors with proof of their competencies before being allowed to use the Ace Cadre Comtech Labs units.
ACECERS using the Lab must be gainfully employed at all times. No user will be encouraged to be idle in the lab.
Proof of damage done by any Acecer or user to ACE property, including furniture, walls, equipment etc. must be adequately compensated for by the offender/s or defaulter/s.
Each Acecer will be allowed a certain amount of Lab hours that MUST be arranged by their Personal Tutor.
The Head of Department Information Technology and the Fourth Director General must be privy of a copy of the Lab schedules before they are implemented.
The Fourth Director General must sign his approval of the Lab Schedules.
The Coordinating Receptionist. Must possess a copy to ensure the proper monitoring of student attending labs.
All Acecers entering labs must first clear their legitimate entry with the Receptionist by displaying their passes on request.
UNITS will be booted and/or shut down by instructors or by Students in the supervisory presence of their Instructors.
A Refundable Cautionary Deposit, of an amount to be stipulated from time to time, is expected to be paid on Registration for Information Technology and Internet Access.
This amount may be refunded on the completion of the Course or access duration, providing that the Teacher student or user has not incurred any damages to Ace Property.
Students are prohibited from bringing to the school valuable items. Ace Cadre Comtech Labs reserves the right to deny any student replacement of lost items especially jewelry and large sums of money in the light of this warning.
Strictly no drinking, eating, using of sweets, chewing of gums in Ace Cadre Comtech Labs. Students are kindly asked to refrain from defacing the furniture, walls or any other property of ACE Cadre.
No music, No listening devices unless attached to a localized ear peace.
